Platinum vs. Palladium

Which do you think will be the better investment long term, Platinum or Palladium?

Re: Platinum vs. Palladium

The value depends on use.

Platinum value in today's world far exceeds that of Palladium, but if a breakdown in industry happens that may not be so.

Same goes for Palladium since demand for it is very limited.

Some years ago, I bought a few Platinum mints as curios...not as an investment.

Actually, neither of the metals appear as safe long-term value storage units.

Pt & Pd are brothers in the PGMs, but they're not equal.

I think the unique hydrogen absorbing quality of Pd is hopeful that it could have a big future.. good bet for some casino money. It's also rarer than Pt, and both are rarer than Au or Ag.
